LANGSTON, OK, September 10, 2014 Dr. Charles J. Mambula I, Associate Professor at the Langston University School of Business and  Chief Executive Officer of Gumir-Jethro Consulting, has been recognized for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management and education.

Respected for his expertise in entrepreneurship development, Dr. Charles J. Mambula is a potent combination of business theory and practice. On one hand, he trains students at Langston University, where he conducts courses in international business, entrepreneurship and leadership management, small business, ethics, social responsibility and human resources. On the other, he puts his teachings to work as CEO of Gumir-Jethro Consultants, a petroleum, oil, gas and energy marketing company through which he mediates on behalf of oil, gas and energy companies across the United States and overseas. Dr. Mambula has since built a reputation for matching buyers and sellers in the oil business, building upon his successes in facilitating oil and gas products from his native Africa/Nigeria to other parts of the world.

In addition to his teaching and consultative work, Dr. Mambula is credited for co-developing afrotrading.com, a website for global e-commerce, and founding Live Circle, a ministry that provides support to people in need. He received his Ph.D. in development studies, specializing in entrepreneurship and small business in 1997 from the University of Wales, Swansea in the United Kingdom; his master of business administration in 1989 from the University of Jos in Nigeria, and his bachelor’s degree in economics and business in 1983 from Manchester College, Indiana. He also holds a certification in New Testament Survey from the Church of the Brethren Mission. He currently serves as a deputy chairman of the United States chapter of the People’s Democratic Party of Nigeria and is a member of the United States Association Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the International Council for Small Business. In five years, Dr. Mambula hopes to be published in business and entrepreneurial journals related to the oil, gas and energy industry.

Gumir-Jethro Consultants specializes in Bonny Light Crude Oil (BLCO), but markets many other petroleum products, including gas and energy. It prides itself on its commitment to excellence with integrity in trade standards and empowerment in its communities in Africa and abroad.
